Good to know
Within one state, GST is split equally into CGST and SGST (or UTGST in union territories). Between states, the whole amount is IGST.
To remove GST from an inclusive price, the price is divided by (1 + rate). For 18% that means dividing by 1.18, not taking 18% off.
