Runs in your browser. Your data is not uploaded or stored.
How to use it
- Paste or type your text in the input box, or upload a file.
- The result appears as you type. Change the options above it if you need to.
- Copy the result or download it as a file.
Good to know
- Text is encoded as UTF-8 first, so non-English characters survive the round trip. Many simple encoders break on these.
- Tick URL-safe to swap + and / for - and _ and drop the = padding. JWTs and many APIs use this form.
Questions
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. Everything runs in your browser with JavaScript. What you type or paste never leaves your device.
- Is Base64 encryption?
- No. Base64 only changes how data is written so it can travel through systems that expect plain text. Anyone can decode it, so never use it to hide passwords or secrets.
