How to use it
- Paste or type your encoded in the input box, or upload a file.
- The result appears as you type. Change the options above it if you need to.
- Copy the result or download it as a file.
Good to know
- HTML forms encode spaces as +. Leave “Treat + as space” ticked for form data and query strings.
- If the text has a % that is not followed by two hex digits, you will see an error instead of a wrong result.
Questions
- Is my data uploaded anywhere?
- No. Everything runs in your browser with JavaScript. What you type or paste never leaves your device.
- Why are there still % signs after decoding?
- The text was probably encoded twice. Paste the result back into the input to decode it a second time.
